Beautiful Dames Ferry is the only campground at 3,600-acre Lake Juliette. Many of the campsites at Dames Ferry have magnificent lakefront views. Lake Juliette is formed by the Ocmulgee River. Anglers can cast a line for bream, crappie, largemouth bass, striped bass, redear and perch. Boating is enjoyed by those who use motors of 25 or less horsepower. Nearby is the small town of Juliette made famous in the movie "Fried Green Tomatoes."
